Airlines improve safety record in 2012 (admin / 783)
Airlines continued to improve their safety record in 2012 and reported the safest year since 1945. The worldwide accident rate for airlines dropped to 21 fatal airline accidents in 2012, according to figures from Flightglobal. In 2011, there were 32 fatal airline accidents.
